West Butterwick
West Butterwick is a quiet, well located village set in the Isle of Axholme in rural North Lincolnshire. It sits approximately 4 miles north-east of the historic town of Epworth and 6 miles west of Scunthorpe.

The village provides a retreat from the surrounding towns of Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Gainsborough. Excellent road networks allow easy access to each of these, Scunthorpe being only 10 minutes away and Doncaster 30 minutes, and is less than an hours commute into Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and Lincoln with all of the other West and South Yorkshire towns between.
